Harvard University Policy:

Harvard University requires that Tuition & Fees be paid in full before registration each term, unless students are enrolled in the University's Monthly Payment Plan. Similarly, diplomas may be withheld and no degree can be conferred until all indebtedness to the University is paid in full.

6.1 Business Process for the Collection of "In-school" Student A/R by School Registrars

It is the Registrar's responsibility to see that registered students' bills are paid in a timely manner and to adhere to the University's payment policy outlined above. SRO has given Registrars access to detailed student balance information that is updated nightly and is used to create reports to assist in this collection process.
