Welcome to the online help for fiscal budgeting

The Budget Tool is a custom, web-based application used to submit budgets to the General Ledger. You will use this tool to create your annual fiscal budget during the annual University budget cycle. Please consult your local tub requirements for budget types and timeframes.

Information on budget guidelines, assumptions, rates, and fees for the coming fiscal year are available at the budget process website: http://vpf-web.harvard.edu/budget/BFP/process/index.html. To get access to the specific FY Budget Letters, you will need a user ID and password. These are available from your tub's financial office or by calling the Budget Office at 6-9888.

Sponsored Budgeting

The Budget Tool is also used to submit sponsored award budgets to the General Ledger. A budget should be enteredy to the General Ledger for every subactivity assigned to an award. To find out more about sponsored budgeting, click here.
